What I've been up to…

Aside from facilitating some last minute holiday travel for clients and locking in spring break travel for others to far flung places, I've been heads-down on a new project I'm launching in the Slow TV space called Slow Cruising TV.

We're launching with our first episode featuring the peaceful vibes of the Norwegian Fjords.

Personally I'm a fan of putting these on in the TV in the background (like wallpaper!), on mute, and just letting it run while I go about my day….

This week we're covering killer Q1 2026 travel opportunities and a Sardinia secret that won't stay secret for long.

More and more clients are looking for more close-in type bookings so to that end, I wanted to highlight what I consider to be some killer travel opportunities for the first three months of 2026….

Epic ski getaway to the newly opened and ultra luxe One & Only Moonlight Basin in Montana

One & Only just opened their first-ever ski resort in Montana, and it's spectacular. Ultra-luxe accommodations, world-class skiing, and that One & Only service standard applied to winter mountain escapes.

Siari Riviera Mexico, a Ritz Carlton Reserve property is offering 4th night free

Makes for a relatively close long weekend getaway to counter the winter blues? I would choose this over more crowded spots like Cabo or Tulum…

Winter on the Med - fewer crowds, cooler weather, lower prices…sign me up!

Seriously - don't sleep on winter in the Med, it's glorious! I'm perusing a few sailings around the Canary Islands and Morocco and another one in Greece. Add on a few days in Lisbon or Barcelona before high season descends and I'd be really happy to wear a light puffer jacket while sitting outside to enjoy some sunshine and good wine :)

Here's what I'll say - if you're thinking of some of the more popular places in Italy for summer 2026 (looking at you Amalfi Coast and Sicily) and you're not booked yet, you might be out of luck…

BUT…

Here's a little 'secret' (but not for long) and that is Sardinia is popping up as the new NEW for low key beach vibes and Belmond is entering the market with what looks to be an extremely high end and glamorous place to get away to.
